Glucosamine is a simple molecule that contains glucose which has been studied for over 40 years. It is sold in 2 forms as a supplement: Glucosamine sulphate and N-acetyl –glucosamine (NAG).

Possible Side Effects
It may cause nausea, but this is eased if it is taken with food. Very high doses may cause gastric fluctuations.
Contra Indications
Not suitable for those with shellfish allergies
Do not take during pregnancy/lactation
Not recommended for diabetics
